“Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event.” ~ Henri Cartier-Besson
Photographer Linda Ching doesn’t look, she feels. When she captures an image through the lens of a camera it is intuitive, or as she calls it, “when eye, head, and heart” align.
Noted 20th century photographer Henri Cartier-Besson, whom Linda cites in her blog Viewfinder, refers to “the decisive moment” sealed in each photograph as a moment of truth.
You will find many of Linda’s photographs throughout the pages of villabodhibali.com. Her images reflect moments of serenity at this lovely residence in the uplands of Ubud, and serendipitous encounters with people and places in the everyday life of Bali.

May your Bali journeys reveal unexpected moments.
